The Internet Public Library has an abundance of information on each president at.  Click on the president of your choice.

World Book's US Presidents and the Presidency is a great site that profiles the history of the Presidency, the office of president and vice-president, articles about the presidents, portraits of the first ladies, and quizes on the presidents, vice-presidents, and first ladies. You may have to check under Archived Features - World History and Culture if it's not in the Feature of the Month.

The Smithsonian Institution's National Portrait Gallery Hall of Presidents offers you a chance to view an official painting or casting of our presidents with information about its artist with its standard tour or you can take a virtual tour and "walk" through the spaces and select specific portraits for more information and larger images.

Get to know Abraham Lincoln through a very detailed timeline of his life from The History Place Presents Lincoln at http://www.historyplace.com/lincoln/.

The History Place has a wonderful collection of Presidential portraits, famous audio dramatic moments from FDR to the present, a George Washington picture gallery, history of John F. Kennedy, and impeachment proceedings of Johnson, Nixon, and Clinton.  Just scroll down the page to the Presidents of the United States.
