Hello, this is Tammy Jahad, Principal of Baucom Elementary with your buddy message.
I hope that everyone has a chance to enjoy this long weekend. Teachers and staff had a productive afternoon of staff development and are looking forward to the workdays on Monday and Tuesday to plan and prepare great learning opportunities for your student.
We thank you for the honor and privilege of working with your children. This morning we had the opportunity to recognize and honor our Spotlight on Student nominees and their parents at a breakfast and presentation. It is with pride that we acknowledge Baucom’s 2011-2012 Spotlight Student, Cassandra Herndon King. She was presented her award by Superintendent Tony Tata at the January 24th Board Meeting. Great job Cassandra and all of our Spotlight Students for demonstrating your commitment to learning and having a positive attitude each day!
