Hello, this is Tammy Jahad, Principal of Baucom Elementary with your final Buddy Message for the 2012-2013 school year!

What a fantastic year it has been! I’d like to thank all of you for making this school year a great success. Baucom is the incredible place that it is because of the dedication and support of loving families, a phenomenal staff and a wonderful community. I am honored and blessed to be a part of this family. 

Monday is our last day of school. We look forward to honoring our 5^th graders on Monday at their Moving Up ceremony which will begin at 9:30 am. Report cards will be sent home with students Monday. Please help your child continue to learn over the summer by having them read. Everyday read something and talk about what they are reading. This will help them be prepared for school next year.

All of the lost and found clothing that has been turned in is on display in the hallway by the cafeteria.  Parents, please come by and check to see if we have any clothing that might belong to your child.

Also, if your child has medicine in the office, please plan to pick it up either Monday or Tuesday next week.

Saturday, 8/24 – Kindergarten playdate

Monday, 8/26 – First day for all students (1^st – 5^th Grade)

Monday 8/26 – Thursday, 8/29 – Kindergarten Staggered Entry

Friday, 8/30 – Kindergarten “Meet the Teacher” Event, 12:30 – 2:00pm

Monday, 9/2 – No School – Labor Day

Tuesday, 9/3 – First Day for all Kindergarten students
