Local Earth Day Events Earth, Music, Art, & Action: 2002 Earth Day Festival - Get ready for Raleigh's celebration on Sunday, April 21 at Harris Field on the NCSU campus from 1:00-7:00. This year's Earth Day Festival is a multi-cultural, multi-organizational first initiative by the Campus Greens to encourage solidarity, art, and activism in our Raleigh community. It will be free and open to the public. 2002 Durham Earth Day Festival - Head on over to the Historic Durham Athletic Park on Saturday, April 20 from 1:00-6:00 for an eclectic mix of music, great food, hands-on environmental education activities and demonstrations, and much more.
